About Paris

Born in London and raised in Australia, Paris trained as a dancer for more than fifteen years, developing a philosophy of lifelong learning and physical movement that continues to shape her creative work.

This foundation flowed naturally into her training as an actor in the Meisner technique, which emphasizes placing one’s attention on others and working instinctively. It is this embodied presence—rooted in movement and responsiveness—that has defined her career on stage and screen.

Paris has portrayed a wide range of characters, from a rock icon to a mythical goddess to a First Lady, earning critical acclaim. In 2018 she won Best Actress at the British Independent Film Awards.

She is also an award-winning photographer, encouraging her clients to move between frames until a moment of stillness is captured. As a teacher, Paris integrates dance and acting in dynamic ways, helping students discover authenticity through movement. She has taught in Canada, Fiji, Australia, and the UK.

Paris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and History, where she merged creativity with academia by writing a play for her philosophy dissertation. During her Masters in Communication, she explored the role of voice in performance, examining how accents influence casting decisions and subtly shape audience responses to characters and stories.

This academic focus deepened her understanding of the powerful interplay between body, voice, and perception, reinforcing the principles that underpin her artistry across the creative disciplines.
